They have been issuing new cards. You can tell the difference because the new ones have 16 digits, and are the only ones that are now valid.
I logged on to my FCNB account to make sure my final payment posted to my Eddie Bauer account. I noticed that my account number had changed and it is now 16 digits. I assume they have found another issuer too. I haven't received any info as of yet. Will post when I do.
Re: Re: ? regarding Speigel or Newport News I just logged in too and found that I have a 16 digit account number but NO available credit showing. Could it be like when monkey wards closed accounts, some got transfered to Wal-Mart cards some did not.
