this was the first time I saw this -- my "never late" dispute came back as "remains." Huh? What does that even mean? A second "never late" dispute on another TL came back "verified and updated," which I'm upset about, but at least I understand what it means. Also, I asked for my free report (this is EXP, by the way) and all I got back was one page = the dispute results on one sidem and the verified and updated TL on the back. anyone else have similar EXP experience? peace, delilah
LOL yes except they can still screw in up in between emailing u and actually dealing w/ the report. I disputed 2 items on Exp in Nov. I got the email stating my results were ready and I checked the results...I had disputed a car loan as never late and a retail store as obsolete. They stated in their "results" that the car "remains" and the retail store was deleted or removed or whatever. LMAO I checked my report, the car loan was history and the retail store was on my good side!! I've kinda left it alone LOL
It's not good- it's means whatever negative information you were disputing was supposedly verified and therefore will "remain" on your report. They have recently stopped sending updated reports with their investigation results, as well.
I figured as much. But it seems like maybe it wasn't actually "verified" because they didn't come back with "verified" so I wonder if I tried it again in a month or two those lates might still come off, damn their stubborn-ness! That's interesting, too, about them not sending out the full reports anymore. I didn't know that. My husband just got a full blown report from them with his dispute results last week. thanks. peace, delilah
Yep, and this is a violation of the FCRA (if changes are made to your report). Add it to your lawsuit treasure chest, and file a complaint with the FTC.
