rec'd demand letter today from CA. dated the same day as my last rotten conversation with them. i don't believe they ever intended to offer me a settlement. i am feeling dejected and what the heck does it matter if i have a collection on my acct. or not, ya know? guess i will send my settlement offer in, i am also going to send them a letter for them to sign saying that they rejected my offer of $XXXX via m/o or c.c. if we get taken to court over this, i can atleast prove that i tried to pay.
