I recently had some success with Northeast Credit and Collections being unable to validate and therefore being required to remove a paid collection that I had. They sent me a letter stating this and attached copies of the forms that they sent to the CRA's in order to have this removed. Those forms are dated 10/06. Any idea how long it should take to remove - it's not gone yet!!!

    Thanks

Adding derogatories happens immediately - deleting them takes 45 days.

Anything to keep the FICO suppressed.

I have a paid medical collection, that was a mix up when my employer changed insurance companies. The CA trasmitted it for deletion on September 4th to all 3 CRA's.

It fell off TU the next day. Fell of EX 10/1, and is still on EQ.

41 days and still on EQ, what a bunch of slackers.
