    Hello all,
After a long battle of credit fixing I have just 3 issues that I need advice on.

1.) remove late pay/delinquency off Discover Card. Card is payed off and closed.
2.) remove late pay/delinquency and foreclosure off Met Life Home Loans. Account is has been current for 3 years.
3.) remove a stupid old wireless bill that is payed off and closed

These three things are the only bad things left I can't get removed. Has anyone had any experience with these paticular companies?

My credit is around 680-690 across all three bureau's.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Welcome to Creditnet!

1.) Since it's already paid off and closed, your best bet is probably to write Discover and ask that they remove the late pays as a courtesy. They don't have to do anything, but they might do it...you never know. There's really not much else you can do, unless there is inaccurate information that you can dispute through the CRAs in hopes that the late pay will be removed altogether.

2.) You could take the same approach as is in #1, but I think your chances of getting the foreclosure removed are slim. Foreclosures are public record and will usually remain on your credit reports for 7 years. How is your account current now if you were foreclosed on previously?

3.) Once again, since it's already paid and closed you don't have much leverage anymore. Your best shot is to ask that it be removed as a courtesy since you paid it off in full. However, they don't really have any incentive at this point to help you out.

    Hey! Thanks for the reply.

1.) I will do that, I tried to call and do it but they couldnt loacate my account. I'll call again.

2.) The foreclosure was started, I was like 120 days late but paid all lawyer fees paid mortgage up to date.
3.) I did ask and they said no. lol. I guess I have to wait on this one.

1.) I recommend doing it in writing. A phone call will probably be less effective.

2.) Then I don't understand why there is a foreclosure on your credit reports if it never actually happened. I could see why you would have late pays, but if they never actually foreclosed then it shouldn't be reported as a foreclosure on your credit reports.
