I disputed TU online BUT when you back to see what you've disputed, it says no disputes have been added. The TU rep said they were working the kinks out and verified that they did get my disputes and they were being processed.

Leo I looked on Credit Expert Experian and I could not see the dispute option.

    Thanks!

Sounds kind of strange, but the dispute option is only available during business hours. lol

    Leo,

I joined "creditexpert" today. At 3:30 to 4:00 pacific time, I could find no evidence that this dispute function exists.

Maybe it's the time, I tried. That has been discussed here.

Just to reconfirm - when you clicked on the individual inquiry - a menu popped up some place and gave you the option to dispute?

I will look again tomorrow (Saturday) and Monday.

Sorry if I am being redundant but the credit expert report looks like a pseudo FICO to me for other reasons. I want to stay on topic and just talk about the inquiries.

My concern here is that thru some fluke creditexpert is deleting your inquiries but if you request a "real" Experian report next week, they will all still be there.

    I hope I am wrong.

BTW, I don't regret joining. It is a fun tool free for 30 days.

    Best wishes - Jim

its very small, after you click on an individual item.

ie go to inquires, go click on an inquiry, then look up in the blue section, it will say something "Request Investigation", then click on that.

if you don't click on a single item, wherever it may be, you'll never see the feature!

    hope that helps!

lol, no nothing comes popping up. I clicked on the inquiry I wanted to dispute and the link to dispute should be between the "details" and the "return to summary" links.

Don't forget that creditexpert is a 30 day trial, according to Saar you can also dispute directly from the experian website.

look at the links below for some screenshots of my actual report.

It's no fluke, they sent me updated credit reports every single time, that is if you don't specify a email, if you do they send you an email saying what is updated.

Re: screen captures of my credit repost

I did it today myself. For instance, I clicked on "Personal Information"...here I found all my names and addresses. At the top there was 3 options: Dispute, Back to Welcome and one other I can't remember. I clicked on dispute. Once I clicked on "Dispute", each entry on that page was underlined. I clicked on the one I wanted to dispute and a box on the righthand side came up stating "What is your dispute of this address item" It contained a drop-down box with "Address incorrect" and "Never lived there" as the two options. I choose whichever one, then it comes up, "You claim you never lived at this address?" (if this was the option I choose) Then there were buttons Yes No Cancel. After you clicked 'Yes", it went to a screen and confirmed that it was submitted for dispute and when I returned to my Peronsal Info page, it showed that it was being disputed.
