I was reading that someone had luck removing inquiries by contacting the inquiring creditor and asking them to remove it. Some strategies they suggested were the "I'll sue" and the "I didn't understand this would create an inquiry on my report" approaches.

Has anyone had luck removing inquiries with the creditors? I've got the TransUnion thing down and have successfully removed all my Equifax inquiries not corresponding with an active account, but Experian won't remove an inquiry for anything!

Trans INQs drop with the fewest soft pulls, next in line is EQ but they take much longer. EX don't drop with soft pulls. EQ drops will be delay if you have credit watch gold. Truecredit and Privacy Matters daily pulls work for me. Patient is the key. It works for everyone but individual time frames will vary.

I have sucessfully removed all of my inquiries from TU and EQ- 42 to be exact. I am sitting on 0 inquiries for both, and it raised my score about 50 points for each CRA.

TU- Made soft pulls on my account every single day until they were all off.
EQ- Used collectman's method. Either search for his, or look up my threads on the subject.

EXPERIAN----(I hate you) I still have 29 inquiries, 3 going to fall off in a month, and the rest falling off in a year.
I'm concentrating on my TU and EQ reports, since they are better, but I will be mailing PP letters to all 29 creditors and will report with what happens.
