Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" Hello Creditneters, I've been gone for a minute, lurking everynow and then. Anyway I need you guys help. Heres my situation. As most of you know I filed BK7 in 1996. I recently returned to school to get my undergrad degree and I will be finished next spring. It's no secret that many HR departments are checking credit and I'm dreding that situation. By the time I graduate, all my "Included in BK7" listings will be gone on all reports but the public record is schedule to expire in 2006. So basically I want to get the public records outta there. Here's my situation with each report Next Month on TU and EQ I will have no more "Included in BK7" listings. TU has it listed with $0 liablities and EQ has it listed with the correct amount. On both the address I filed with is LONG GONE. Experian has the liability listed with the number rounded off to the nearest thousand. I have to wait till next february (2003) in order for the last "included in BK7" listing to expire. They still list that address that I filed with. The District I filed in is not setup with Pacer. You have to send in a paper request. Next year will be Seven Years. I'm thinking that in Mid November (C.H.O.D.) I need to dispute TU and EQ as not mine. Any one thing different? I'm also thinking I should first request a report then dispute with there own form. No green card or anything fancy. I'm thinking that I should first get some of those old addresses off my EX to include the one I filed with and then try next March, when last entry will be gone. (That will be a month before graduation). I appreciate any and all advice. Thanks In advance.
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" Hey Jake, Welcome back to CN. I filled BK13 in 99 and is trying to get them off my reports. I am waiting for CHOD as well (November). Any advice on how to get the items "included in BK" off before disputing? Any help is GREATLY appreciated ... UNLV34 PS..Good luck with your BK dispute at CHOD!!!
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" FatJake, Sounds like a well thought out plan to me. I'm doing the same with my C13 and yep, I'm going to either do it in writing on a plain ole' yellow sheet of paper or use the form. Sassy
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" UNLV: Well I waited most of my Included in BK7's out. The ones I got off were paid Joint Accounts. (Family went through a little hard times) SassyinAz: Thanks for the assurance that I'm thinking right as far as the disputes. I'm taking a lesson from the Junum and Lexington Letters. Remember those guys?? G. FISHER 4Q!! Keep your Boyscout Rhetoric to yourself.
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" Jake, Unfortunately, my 2 BK13 are only 3 years old (see thread). I guess I will try to dispute during CHOD, but is still unsure how to dispute "included in BK" items ... My idea is to dispute "items included in BK" first, then to dispute BK's ... UNLV34
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" UNLV, Even though they are listed as "included in BK" the items of information within the tradeline all have to be accurate and verifiable. So, are the dates all correct? are balances zero'd out? does it show it was a charge off? is every piece of information within the tradeline correct? If not, and I'd bet my big toe the information isn't accurate, dispute that piece of information -- you don't even need to mention the BK or included in BK. Sassy
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" Thanks Sassy!!!! I will try to dispute my items using your advice. YOU are DEFINITELY a ray of sunshine ... :0) UNLV34
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" Alright, I'll be more direct; apparently, you're sleeping in ethics class. Users of credit reports depend on the veracity of the reports to make their decisions. Your finding a way to create a false history is nothing more than a flat-out, cheap-trick, bald-faced lie. You'll have to live with it and face your employer-- and subsequent ascension built on that foundation-- every day knowing it exists. But if that's your way, perhaps you won't stop there. What about diploma mills, tax evasion, corporate fraud and embezzlement? You used the word "GAMEPLAN." It isn't a game, so stop gaming the system and direct your efforts into more honest and honorable pursuits. If you get the job under false pretenses, you keep another who is more qualified from obtaining that income and lifestyle. You will have done it by cheating. Your life and theirs will be forever changed. Don't lie. I look forward to your response.
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" I USED to have respect for you. You have no right to make some of the comments you have lately. I don't know what has gotten into you lately, but you sure haven't been helping anybody. And do you know his whole story? Maybe, it is being reported with some inaccuracies and they refused to update his file. Is that ok. And your trying to compare disputing an item on a credit report to embezzlement, fraud and tax evasion is beyond comprehension. Sorry, I see no comparison.
Re: Removing Bk7 GAMEPLAN "4th & Inches" G. FISHER, LKH said it right. You don't know sh*t. Again go talk your boyscout bullsh*t to someone else. Honest and Honorable? I've serve and still serve my country defending against enemies and now terrorist. What do you do, disrupt post on websites, and publish websites on how consumers are being fleeced. However you don't believe in fighting fire with fire. Just do us both a favor and stay away from my posts. FatJake
