How difficult is it to remove a CA account when the original creditor is also reporting? From what I understand, for the CA account to remain the original account must report as sold or transferred with $0 balance. Is this correct? If it doesn't will the CRA easily delete or is it big hassle. Anyone with any experience?

    Killer,

I've seen your question in a number of threads - I asked the same thing. From what I now understand, an account can be listed by the original creditor AND by the CA, even though they are the same account.

Apparently, getting rid of the listings can be done by requesting validation by the CA or verification by the CRA. In a perfect world, if the account isn't valid, it shouldn't be verifiable by the CRA and should be deleted.
