Anyone successful in removing a foreclosure from their Credit Report? Any sample letters or advice would be great. My problem is my girlfriend almost got foreclosed on but she sold the property before foreclosure. The entry on the credit report states "Foreclosure Process Started" and there are a couple of 30 day lates and a 90 day late. The property was never Foreclosed... it was sold before foreclosure but the credit report continues to show "Foreclosure Process Started". We can live with the lates but that statement has to go. Any advice? Is this even supposed to be there? Is it considered a foreclosure? Please help. Thanks.
