What kind of experience do other members have of getting hard inquiries removed? Reducing the number will definitely increase a person's score. Here is my experience:

EQUIFAX - Definitely the easiest. Write in stating you have no recollection of giving a creditor permission and as long as there is no account with that organisation that will be gone in three or fours days. Got 18 inquiries reduced to 3 there, all of which searches carried out prior to opening existing accounts.

EXPERIAN - A little bit more tricky. Seems a bit hit and miss, write in with just one at a time, half the time they will remove within a week, otherwise they ignore the request. Got 22 down to 11 (so far). They seem to be catching on as I always send letters for my wife and self seperately and had a response back to each of us last week in the envelope!

TRANSUNION - A different kettle of fish. Nothing that I have tried has worked with them, including with legitimate objections - e.g. filled in one credit application with an auto dealer who sent this to four others.... All I get back is a standard letter suggesting that I contact the "creditor" directly which is taking the piss since a) the organisations are not creditors, last time I checked creditors were owed money; and b) the don't give you the address to contact the creditor....started with 8 and still have 8

If anyone has any suggestions here, I would sure appreciate hearing from them.
