I'm to the point where my credit is perfect. Except for two judgments showing up in the Public Records section of the reports. One is a satisfied foreclosure by Provident Bank. The other must be a default judgment from First Select Corp. Question 1) are these factored into the FICO score? 2) Why would a *satisfied* judgment be showing up? Who is reporting that? Provident Bank? What's the procedure for getting something like that removed?
I also have a judgement from First Select Corp, good luck getting it off of your report. I have tried to contact them and they will not talk to me due to they sold the account, yet they will not remove it from my report, so i don't know who to pay. Hope you have better luck than i did.
To get around the FDCPA they now sell the debt off to another CA when you try to dispute it. I have docmented them even selling it in a circle. In other words it went from C1 to CA2 hen CA3 then back to CA1 again. The law needs to be changed so they can't re-sell it unless they able to validate it.
If you cannot get verification of this debt I would suggest just disputing the judgements (as not mine) directy through the CRA's. I did this with TU and EXP and after 2-3 attempts they finally removed them completly off. Most likely if you don't know who owns the debt then the CRA will have a hard time aswell verifying and end up removing them the same way they did with mine.
Ok heres the deal for all u ppls out there with regular judgements straight up from the mastermind himself. Here goes judgements do not have your social so its easy unless of coarse its judgment for child support or somegarnish ment that does. Therefore this is what you do. 1.Delete all address especially the one with record of the address that the judgement was listed under 2.Delete your dob with bureau 3State that old lady or man has same name and dispute with bureau They will only be able to verify your name and name alone is not enough verification to remain on your file.
Contact bureau for removal of dob and addresses, the addresses will temp be removed because the companies will rereport the address however when the court is contacted that address wont be present as well as dob. Also judgments dont have social attached to them and that means the court can only verify its your name but wont be able to verify your address dob or social and it wont be able to stay on file
Re: Re: Removing Judgments listen idoit if you do as i say and u have a judgment it will be gone! The bureaus have ppl that go into the courts to check the information. If Joe Blow calls in removes the address from his file that is tied to the judgment along with his DOB all they can verify is name and again name alone will not keep on file. In the court you can change their records however you can with the bureaus.
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments In my experience the CRA doesn't ever verify with the court nor do they go into court records. They verify with the creditor reporting it. You don't seem to grasp how the system works. It would be nice but what makes you think the CRA's would remove your address and DOB on request. Then how could any creditor uniquely identify you? Besides there's a history of several addresses listed and many are almost identicle to the present address. Someone else please chime in. I think this guy's on drugs.
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments first off your an idiot the CRA have vendors that go into the court to check the records on specific days of the month. Secondly you can get a PO BOX and then send in proof to the bureas to add that to file. Once its added you can tell the bureas that the other addresses are all wrong and your getting confused with someone else. Then you tell them your DOB is wrong as well. Example since you obviously cant grasp this. judgement is filed under Joe Blow 123 main st canton oh 44144 dob 6-1-1962 Your file read Joe Blow current address 123 main st canton oh 44144 former addresses 365 b st canton oh 44144 along with your DOB. You call bureau tell them you have new PO box they will tell you they need the proof. Send in proof and once its received call again and tell them the addresses along with DOB are wrong. Once your address and DOB are gone your file will read : Joe Blow po box 1 canton oh When the vendor goes to court there isnt a social attached to the file, the address the judgement is file isnt on file and dob isnt there either. Since they only verify name they will delete the judgement. This isnt rocket science think about all the Jones or Williams that would have 1000000's of judgments on file
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments oh ya stephen forgot to point it out the CRA never i and i speak never goes to the plaintiff to find out if its yours. The go to the recorder of deeds in that particular court and look up the docket through their vendors.
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments one more point stephen wrote, "Then how could any creditor uniquely identify you?" In most case all companies or in public record bankrupcies or tax liens all have your ssn. Judgements are the only case where it is not and this is why my solution to your question works. If you want answers to your questions your going to have to deal with the feedback you get. I simply laid out the plan now it is up to you.
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments Mastermind is right that is why if you go get a mortgage tey make you sign a name affidavit if someone with a name similar to yours has a judgement becasue they cant verify SSN on the judgement. Also they are reported BY the COURTS on the bureaus not the original creidtor when the judgement is padi the creditor reports it to the courts who in turn update with the bureaus. Later
Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments It is my understanding that the courts do not report to anyone. The CRAs pay companies such as Lexus Nexus for information from databases they maintain collected from public records.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Removing Judgments From the research I've done by searching this group's past posts is the CRA's don't do ANY research. They merely report what is reported to them.
