Removing Satisfied Judgments??

Has anyone had any luck getting satisfied judgments removed from their Credit Report? I actually have 4 separate satisfied judgments from one 'creditor' (my homeowner's association).

Can I ask the lawyer who filed these judgments in the first place to vacate them and then dispute them through the regular CRA channels? Or just dispute them and cross my fingers that the court won't reply?

    Thank you!

You should have done that as a condition of paying them .

This is an old thread, but I was recently told that if a judgment is paid in full, the creditor who originally won the judgment, has the option of having it removed from your credit report, although it will still show in public records with the courts. Does anyone know if this is true?

Doubt its true. It is 3rd party contractors that usually glean this info from the courts and hand it off to the CRAs.

They might delete any tradeline, but as jlynn said, the public record would still show since this comes from other sources.
