removing TL older than 7 yrs

    Details are
    opened 06/2000
    last date of activity 12/2000
    date reported 06/2001

    Is there any chance this can be removed ?
    Is there any chance it can be put back on ?
    We ask the CRA to remove it correct ?

    Dispute it as obsolete . . .

    Check your reports, this should be off. If not, as Apex suggested, dispute as obsolete (past SOL for reporting).

    Is it a positive or a negative tradeline? Leave positive tradelines alone. You want them to report as long as possible.

    True . . . they usually stay for ten years past the date of closure.
