I have an old Bankone card that shows "closed by consumer" it was opened in 1988 and just paid off this year after being on a debt management plan. If I could get Bankone to reopen that account will it help my score?
Re: Re: Reopen old account They did a reage and it took off a recent 30 day late but the reports I pull don't show if the old 30 day late from 2000 is still on. Would that still be worse or should I go for reopening it?
I had a Bankone account closed because I had too much debt on other credit cards. These are all 0% balance transfers which I plan to pay off soon. I am hoping to get the account reopened at that time. Does anyone know within what length of time an account can be reopened at Bankone once it has been closed? 90 days, 6 months????
