Just recieved a reply to my 1st letter of validation from ca today. Ande they sent me a copy of the itemized bill, a copy of my driver's liscense, and a copy of the orginal contract. Is this enough for validation? If not what more is needed or what more should I request? I have searched and didn't find the answer I am looking for. Thank-You in advance.
Not knowing the intimate details of what you received with your request for validation I would suggest looking at the following to see if all of the components are present: http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra....php?s=&threadid=42188&highlight= validation
OK looking at that and understanding it is making my head hurt. Question how do you know if the CA has gotten the information from the OC and sent it to you. All they sent me was a copy of the contract on the front and back of a single sheet of paper. The new customer information sheet, a survey form. A copy of the account history, a copy of a receipt from my initial payment, and a copy of my letter to them requesting validation. Also the CA sent the letter regular US mail. No CRRR letter.
What you are looking for is also an accounting of all the payments that have been made, as well as the balance/payoff. Validation is difficult for the CRA and OC to provide, and it's your tool to make sure that the debt that they are reporting is valid and accurate.
Also the CA sent the letter regular US mail. No CRRR letter. claymca | ========================= Crrr not required. Does the account history agree with your records? THE END ** *** ** LB 59 """""""""```~~~```'"""""""""
