2 yrs ago, I moved out, but forgot to disconect dish network that I ordered for everyone in the house. Once I realized that, it was too late. the acct was sent to CA. I paid in full, (only 16 bucks), but did not know that CA reported to CRAs. Today I pulled out my reports and see the tradeline; however, it was only reported to 2 CRAs of out 3 major CRAs. I'm wondering if it's risky to dispute it? It might end up being reported to all 3 CRAs, if CA can verify? Thanks!
Not all furnishers report to all 3, because they don't contract with all 3. Since its a paid collection, and a whopping $16 I would dispute it. Maybe it won't be worth their time and effort to verify for the CRAs.
