Who's responsibility is it to report a judgment as paid? Is it the OC, the lawfirm representing the OC or the court? I paid a $5000 judgment on June 28, 02 and it is not reporting as satisfied or paid yet. So, I want to send off a letter to whoever is supposed to do this.
The OC reports to the court once the judgment is paid. The court updates the judgment to reflect such. The CRA gets any and all info concerning a judgment from the courts, in most cases.
On June 28, a motion of judment satisfaction was filed by the OC's law firm. Notice below that they have the person signing for the service as :ETHON FLETCHER, but it was served on: FLETCHER, ETHAN B (correct spelling) Any chance of getting it dismissed b/c of incorrect service b/c the first name is misspelled?
