I was so upset with the RJM collection on my report that I hadn't noticed a medical collection account that was supposed to be removed 9/02, exp. and equ. deleted, but transunion is still showing it as a collection account. How can I get this removed immediately it is affecting my score as well as the RJM collection account that they are showing as being less than 9 months old when it's supposed to be deleted in 4/02. I need to know what my rights are, Transunion is really ruining my credit score, and I just applied for a mortgage loan, I won't have an answer until next week so I need to know how to take care of this A.S.A.P. Thanks.

Shouldn't both of these TLs have Dissapeared last year.?
Call the CRAS and tell them both are being reported past the 7 YR RP.

I apologize the RJM is going to be deleted in 4/04 not last year, but the medical bill was supposed to be deleted as of 9/02. Do I call, write, fax, or e-mail the CRA's about going past the 7 year limit. Also is it true that my credit score will go down after getting these items deleted? I have to have them remove name variations that I have never even used and some addresses as well they have me living everywhere my parents and my sisters have moved to. Will all of this affect my scoring in a negative way? Or should I wait and talk to the broker I am going to for my home loan to see what he says about cleaning up my credit? I really appreciate the help. I also apologize for the 3 postings on this subject, I accidentally hit my back and refresh buttons when my computer slowed down. Thanks.

Send a dispute to the CRA's CMRRR. Dispute the DOLA on the account and state that its being illegally reaged. Also this would be a good time to send copies of your old reports with the correct DOLA on them as evidence.

Getting rid of a collection agency, especially the last one on your reports, can never hurt in the long run.
