Any help re this situation would be appreciated. My friend (yes my friend, not me LOL) had her car repossed in NJ this week. She is currently waiting for a letter re the repossesion before she's able to try to get the car back. The only thing I could think of to tell her is to get an accounting from Toyota Motor Credit before she pays anything. Is there something else she should do? This is not a CR issue as she's not concerned w/ her rpts right now. My question is about how she should properly handle the situation not to totally mess her self up. I did a search on Findlaw and the State of NJ site but I couldn't find any real helpful info. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Breeze, I don't know if you'd have any ideas. You seem to be quite knowledgable about this stuff. Even a site to go to would help. Thanks.
