As everyone probably knows I wrote to Discover via Planetfeedback back in May. After no response, I mailed a letter to Mr. Brown at Discover asking for an answer to my lowly credit limit. It has been over a month and still no response from either source. Has anyone received an answer from them? I'm at my wits end. My cash back anniversary date is August 25th. So far I've boycotted the card since the end of June. I think I'm going to cancel once I get my big $17.00 check for my cashback. Thanks for any suggestions.

    I HAVE A CASH BACK OF $400+

    I WROTE TWICE asking for a $7,000 increase...after 5 years of NONE...

They keep writing for me to call 1-800-DISCOVER...

I WON'T CALL...(if they put their questions in writing...I will have a "paper trail")...

    MY DATE WAS 07/27/2001...
Due to delayed charges...maybe $300 max will be on the FINAL BILL FOR AUGUST...

I'M HOLDING OUT FOR $7,000...$1,500 AFTER 5 YEARS IS A JOKE!!!

CITIBANK...48 HOURS...1 EXTRA INQUIRY FOR MY TIME AND STILL DENIED...

Thanks, George. I didn't think they would respond to my questions I had just hoped they had responded to someone else's. I bet Discover loves printing out your check each year :) For the amount of money you're spending with them they should give you unlimited credit.

F.Y.I. if I paid interest, it would be almost 16%...new people get 14.99%
If I did a balance transfer I would get 9.90% for as many as 3 months...WOW!!!
New people get 1.90-2.90% for 5-6 months!!!

I would NOT "MAX IT OUT" but if they don't give me what I want...I can WALK...
I told them I'm NOT asking for $750,000!!!

If nothing else...it will help my F.I.C.O. (I PAID IN FULL EVERY MONTH...BUT SINCE THEY REPORT BILLING AMOUNT...IT LOOKS LIKE I NEVER PAY IT OFF)...

    GEORGE,

How did you get over $400 in cashback?

That's like over 40k in 1 year of charges.

What do you charge? Mortgage, car payments?

By the way, I started in 1987 with 1k limit,

    now it's 11,000, sometimes i carry a balance,

for a few months, but have never requested any

    increases.

Same with Private Issue, started in 1991 with 5k

    now 11k also.

FRIENDS REFUSE OR CAN'T USE CREDIT CARDS...you use your DISCOVERCARD...they pay you in cash...you "BANK IT" until you need it to pay in full...

Somebody at work wants to buy a car...they have the cash...give it to you...use your DISCOVERCARD...$$$...

    ANY TIME YOU CAN...
