I got a leet er today from capital one saying.... Thank you for inquiry regarding your credit bureau report. In order to investigate your concern, we need you to provide us with additional information. Please forward a copy of any supporting documentation that shows incorrect information being reported to credit bureaus. Please forward this information to us by 2/9/04. Now what should I do. From what I have being learing is that it is their responsibility to find me in the wrong . Should I send them a threat letter telling them to prove to me I was late , and if you cant prove it, by law you need to delete the late payment.
If this is a closed account, this is how they should respond (they should not pull a CR on a closed account). You could send them the part of your CR with other unrelated sections blacked out.
Its not a closed account Im tying to get a 30 day late off, and they want me to send proff that I was not late
so should I wait intil they past their 30 day resond time. And then send them a letter demand them to delet the late pay since they did dont verrify it within the 30 day time alotted . Or should I send them a letter now telling them It is my right for them to prove to me that I was late . And remind them the only have 15 days left on their time .
