I have sent several request's for PP on an inquiry to Citibank. They didn't respond to the first 3 and I finally sent an ITS letter. I get a letter from them with a printout with my name, old address and my other info. They say that this is a copy of my application with them. NOWHERE does it show my signature. I could have just typed up the piece of paper they sent and made it look the same. Can they consider this proof of PP??? I NEVER applied for anything with them (no I never had an account with them either, 200%positive)
    Thanks.

So this isn't permissible PP? I have a copy of a FTC opinion letter that says something about an internet app. is far removed from the permissible purpose definition as written in the FCRA. Should I not even bother responding to their letter and just file?
