just got my equifax in after disputing, had 4 items deleated and 3 verified one that was verified was one i sent a validation to and never heard back from,told the credit bureau of this and they still said they verified this. anything i can about it? its a collection agency.
Telling Equifax you requested validation accomplishes nothing. Forward them your proof, requesting deletion because the CA failed to at least mark the account in dispute. Be sure to keep your old reports.
Send everything certified. When in doubt, send it certified, when you think that don't have to send it certified, send it certified. That $3.94 will save you a lot of headaches one day.
also on the same subject the collection agency isnt showing the item as being in dispute,how long should it say dispute? until they answer or just 30 days after i sent them the validation letter? i know i send the demand to deleate letter to the credit buereu,do i send anything else to the ca? failure to add dispute letter or since no validation demand to remove from credit report?
