It happened to me twice now. First theres Equifax, in latest round of disputes I get two deletions. One a collection acct ($98) and one a Judgement (6yrs old). But another account that had very similar acct #'s between the pos listing and the neg listing, They of course delete the positive one. So for all of my trouble I get a 3 pt. drop in FICO! Second we have Experion, in latest round of disputes I get one collection deletion, one Judgement deletion , Then I disputed one TL that had some lates as paid never late and of course they delete it too!! So for all of my trouble I get a 1 pt. drop in my EXP score. Do these guys coordinate or what? LOL. Well you just gotta laugh to keep from cryin. I think I got EQ on deleting wrong TL as I pulled a CR while it was in dspute and they had the right TL marked as in dispute (the derog) then when investigations over they delete the pos. Has anyone had luck catching them like this and sending a letter with the evidence and having them put the pos TL back on? I don't know what to do about EXP, I am thinking a lot of my negs are so old that they won't bump me up much when they fall off anyway. i am getting close to make=ing some of my largest gains yet. When tax money comes back I will be able to get my utilization down to prctically 0. I am hoping that this puts me closer to prime (the FICO simulator says it will anyway). I'll let you know in a month. I have really enjoyed this site and I need to post my results to date. Which I think are not too bad for 3 mos. I have done it mostly online, 1 fax to CSC and one phone call to EXP. Thanks, DX 1/16/03 TU 545 FAKO EXP 641 ? EQ 615 FICO 4/12/03 TU 679 FAKO (4 deletions) EXP 654 ? (7 deletions) EQ 623 FICO (4 deletions)
Hi, curious how you got the judgements off? Denying they were yours? How many times did it take? I got one removed from Experian on the first try by saying it wasn't mine. Thanks.
