Results of change to credit report

    Maybe we should keep this thread going. The idea is to post(and you know for a fact) what was removed from your credit report and the result to your score. That way people have an idea as to what affects what.

    equifax removed a $205 unpaid collection from NCO financial systems that was listed 1 year ago.
    result: +15 points

    Hi,

    Backspace was very helpful in giving me information about getting rid of an old Exxon account from 1997.

    My score went up a whopping 8 points :)

    Seriously, I really did appreciate his help.
