FYI. I go the guest card in 8/2001 with a $200 CL with about a 580 FICO. I used it every month and paid if off each month. I got a $300 increase in 12/2001 and continued to use the card monthly and pay it off within a month or two at most. In 8/02, with about a 590-600 FICO I was automatically sent a Target Visa with a $3k line to replace my guest card.
RNB likes activity on the account. They also like large payments. Normally you can get 100 increase every 90-120 days with a customer service rep (200 or more from a supervisor) without an inquiry... if you want more they'll review you but it'll cost you a hard inquiry.. not worth it. And if you push to a supervisor then I'd still make sure they know you don't want another inquiry pulled...
