This seems an appropriate place to state how much my prayers and support are behind the President. On another thread, I stated something quite differently...let me just say that, while our philosophies differ, the man has a burden beyond imagination and I'm with him!
I read an article last night commenting on how the media are questioning the fact that the President went into an underground bunker during the attack. The writer pointed out the obvious, which seems to have been ignored by the media. Our country was under attack by who knows whom or for how long (at that time). His primary task, at that point, as Commander in Chief of the US miltary was to preserve the chain of command. He did the right thing. I would post a link to the article, but there was some obvious poltical bias when comparing this administration to the Clinton administration, and I really don't want to spark a political debate.
