Revolving is just another word for credit card. It has nothing to do with the status of the card, just the type of account.
There are basically three types of accounts: Charge account - the entire amount you charge to your credit line is due and payable at the end of the billing cycle. Revolving account - A certain percentage of your total balance is due at the end of the billing cycle. Making a payment frees an equivalent amount of credit which you can then use for new charges. Installment account - The same fixed payment is due each month until the account balance is paid. Making each payment reduces the balance of the account, but does not free additional credit to be used.
