Has anyone had any success disputing Risk Management Alternatives accounts with Equifax? I disputed one along with a 3 other accounts. They investigated all but the RMA account, did not address it at all. What should I do next?
This worked for me... Write a letter directly to them with the dispute, and mention also you're aware that RMA purchased all equifax receivable paper. Mention also you hope that the the silence doesn't reflect their affiliation and etc..... I'll try to find my letter... It worked, was removed....
I sent the standard validation letter found here in sample letters and didnt get a reply within the 30 days. Went straight to the intent to file a complaint letter and they deleted it from my credit report, but of course i still got no response from them. I dont care, atleast its gone. MistyEyed
I have sent out 2 letters to them for validation. If they do not respond or remove, I will send estoppel next... very frustrating, they verified at EQX when I disputed also.
I sent out validation, estoppel and recieved a letter that they would close the account and send it back to the original creditor and they would remove the listing on my report. The never did. I disputed and it was gone in 3 days. Could have something to do with the fact that they are not licenced in my state.
