You know it feels good to really have something that is "NOT MINE" lmckenzie ------------------------------- This is till ARs are pulled and your loans and insurance gets JACKED. LB 59
History: Appeared out of nowhere on my EXP report in late November 2002, caused 50 point drop in score. I followed the techniques that I learned here and elsewhere and they sent a letter that I received today that states that they are closing the account and deleting the tradeline. My advice to anyone here is stick to your guns and follow the advice here (read the FAQ's 4 times) and you will prevail. Send everything CRRR, and as Psych Doc says, adopt a litagous mind set. Tell them that they better get it off your report or we're going to court (from Butch). NV Bone Doc Member of the 650 Club True health comes from within
Showed up on my TU in November also. It had a delinquency date of 1995 which was already past the reporting time. Why would TU even enter something that was that old and past the reporting time?! A simple "not mine" made it go away. This is ridiculous....think of those out there that rarely ever pull their reports and have no clue what is happening. Kind of scarey if you ask me
Another number for RJM Acquisitions Hi, My banker informed me a couple days ago that Double Day Books was on my credit report. I googled them and emailed them asking what this was. They emailed me back telling my my acct had been sold to RJM Acquisitions. They provided this phone number: 1-800-651-4418 I called and a man named "Dan" answered immediately. He at first couldn't find me by name, but then found something under my address. He couldn't even tell me what it was as he said it wasn't complete for some reason, but he saw the mistake and would take care of removing this from the credit report. He gave me his extension of: 4226 I had googled RJM and found this site. Thanks and hope I could help!
