I'm sorry It's a furniture store. They finance through household and MBNA and offer pretty good terms. No interest or payments for 6mos to a year, but I know Household Retail is hard to get. At least for me it is. I was thinking of applying, but didn't want to waste an inquiry.
Years ago, I was told by a salesperson at Art Van (local HUGE furniture retailer) that an account/loan for furniture was one of the TOUGHEST types of loans to get. If you have derogs, don't bother. My guess is because, even if they are successful in getting the merchandise back (after you default), there's nothing that they can do with it (it's old and soiled). For all intents and purposes, it's an unsecured loan.
