Well, my round 2 disputes are coming in. Equifax - The only thing left on there was inquires which Junum disputed. I got the old "Inquires are a matter of record, yada yada yada". So I guess Junum is dead with them. I'd like to try to get the inquiries removed on my own, but I need to "speak" with someone who has DEFINATELY had experience with having them removed. Experian - Whatever Junum disputed this time around, they disputed before. Experian said, "We've already done this knucklehead, and we're not doing it again". I'll be contacting Junum to find out exactly what they are disputing. TU - They just sent the letter saying, "We got the dispute, we'll be in touch". I've been with Junum since last Jan. I find it mighty funny that my foreclosure was removed from Equifax but came back verified with Experian and TU. To be honest, there are a LOT of things that were removed from Equifax that Experian and TU had come back "verified". Someone isn't telling the truth here. Is there any way I can use one CRA against the other to get information removed? Thanks! P.S. Hey Momof3...welcome back!
I tried that! I had something removed from both Experia and TU but Equifax came back saying it was verified. I called them and asked how they can verify something when the other 2 CRA's are not (not to mention that fact that creditor went out of business) and she basically said that the other 2 CRA's are not in conjunction iwth Equifax and they can't look at my other reports for updating theirs. Those are the same frustrations that I share. On round 2, Experian sent a letter stating that they would not re-investigate items that were already disputed on round 1! So, out of like 6 items, they didn't investigate 3. What a waste of a dispute. So, on round 3, I sent a letter to Junum w/ my reports stating that I didn't want them to dispute these items (I went to list all items that came back verified on round 2).
