Received an offer for 4.99% perm rate from Citizens Bank of Rhode Island, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland. Can't find anything on the web about them as far as reviews of the card and service, just bits and pieces of news.. Anyone have any experiences/opinions to share?

I found over 86,000 links to them. They are apparently a very old bank founded in 1898. Supposedly also affiliated with the National Bank of Haiti. I've only seen one derogatory link so far. So who knows? .
Thanks for the welcome...actually, I lost my old login, so I recreated. I have spent many years fighting the fine people at Cross Country Bank (jerrydj website, class action work, etc), and exposing rocco a. for the thief he is...he played his games with my ex just a bit too much...but I digress...I used to be a regular reader of creditnet... No, I couldn't find anything one way or another on RBS, except general news. I'm tempted to take the plunge...I have 3 cards, total of about 50K in credit line on the 3 cards, rates ranging from 9-14, and a 700+ credit score. Since the rate is supposedly fixed unless you default, it might not be too bad. Figuring, it is worth seeing what kind of limit I get, then deciding whether to keep it.
Apparently, they're pretty new. I got an offer from them not long ago as well. 0% on BTs and Purchases for a year. Here's a link from creditboards to let you know what we've discussed so far. http://www.creditboards.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41661&highlight=rbs
Thanks!..I'll likely go for it...but first going to go look at my EQ..looks like that is their choice...
