Anyone have it? It's issued by Columbus Bank and Trust. I like the rewards, (5 greenpoints for every $1 spent), but I can't find who they pull of how hard it is to get. I really don't want another inquiry, but I'd really like to have this card!

It sounds like another attempt from the old
S & H Greenstamps - my Mom collected them and we ended up licking the damn stamps by the page.....

5 points for each $1? Anna - everything is relative -
they could price a VCR at 1,000,000 points.

Interesting info though - except Columbus Bank & Trust is notorious for OUTLANDISH interest rates.
On some ASPIRE Visas, they charge 41%.

    Now you see that:
1 - they make money on these point programs
2 - they make interest off you at a high rate.

Go buy your prize - it'll save you :)

No, you don't get it. I don't want the prizes. Nowadays, (in the 2000's) while you can still buy that VCR for 10,000 points, you now get great savings on groceries at Shop-n-Save. I went in not too long ago and got enough food for a week and it only cost me 5 bucks cause I redeemed my points. It has a 0% BT for 6 months and the interest rate is 10 - 17%. I'd rather get points rewards that I'll use than airline mileage that I probaly will never use.

PS - The points are good for Iams, too :)

CB&T usually pulls Equifax. No guarantees though.

Sounds like it has some bonuses - and yes, airline cards are not the ticket they once were.....

Anna, I use the MR points from my AMEX - and yes, I do collect those points - My last gift to myself was a BOSE WAVE Radio/CD - and that is fun too!
