There was also the Klobuchar-Rockefeller bill last September, S. 2033. I read that Rep. Markey had one in the works in the House, also Sen. Pryor was working on a bill to protect cell companies from state courts.
S 2033 has also only been introduced, never debated or voted. And here's a little tidbit of information for anyone who thinks that as soon as there is a new administration all of these new bills will be passed or old ones overturned: "Introduced bills go first to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate.
