Wondering if there would be a way to equip our commerical planes with some type of device that would alert officials within sec/mins of a plane leaving its flight pattern? And if it would be possible to somehow take remote control of the plane if it was determined that it was being highjacked? As to the plane that crashed before it could reach it's destination I can't help wondering if somehow those poor people on board banded together and were able overcome the terrorist.....since our officials deny shooting down the plane.....I keep wondering why it crashed......I know my mind is grasping at straws.
I heard thats why the plane in PA crashed was b/c the passengers refused to hit the target and crashed it. This is speculation of course, but, I heard that one of the passengers called his wife to tell her what they were doing.
Thinking is good. Your tracking ideas may have some merit. As far as the plane that crashed, I have the same theory. From the moment the first crash happened I thought our pilots were not involved, no american pilot would deliberately ram a plane into a building such as the WTT.
The passengers on the PA flight did fight the hijackers. One man told his wife that "we are all going to die, but three of us are going to do something about it". There are ways to track a plane's course and identity, through a transponder. But the hijackers on all the planes turned the transponders off --- another indication that these men had been very well trained.
Then they need to install a code to turn the desponder off....as said no pilot even with a gun to his head would obey the command to uncode it, knowing they intended to do something this horrible..I just can't imagine the last moments for those passengers having to make a decision like that......
