NCO MCI TELECOM and MCI COMMUNICATI. both have the same dollar amount but they have different open dates, account numbers and DLA's. should i include both of them in one dispute/validation letter? or do i need to handle them individually. also just for clarification, i should send any dispute letters to all 3 CRA's yeah?
further clarification if you could. when i send the dispute/validation letter to the CRA's i should also send a dispute/validation letter to the CA/OC?
one more thing. if you can't tell this is my first go at this. i've tried to read a ton of stuff but just a little uncertain about specific aspects of the approach.
Yep. Send the dispute letters to CRAs.. Send Debt validation letters to the CA&OC. Clarify your post. You said NCO MCI then MCI communication. Am I understanding correctly?... NCO is a CA..They probably were assigned or bought the account.. That would explain the same Amounts but different account#s,dates.. I had a simliar problem. What I did was call TU..They deleted a duplicate of one that was the same company...Dispute online as Not Mine for one like your situation..They deleted OC but not CA..Did the same with Exp. Got the same results. Next Did EQ.They deleted OC but not CA. They kept verifying the other Company that was on twice.. I,ve got my letters in route right now working on that one. Thats an example of what can happen. frioguy
yeah the nco mci and the mci communication are listed as two seperate tradelines. so if i wanted to handle it all by mail i should do them seperately is what your saying?
