In another thread you were asking who regulates the accounting practices of banks? Here is a list of regulators I found at the TU website. Maybe this will help. Hey, check out these links. http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/laws/rules/5000-1000.html http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/laws/rules/5000-100.html
Thanks LKH, LOL, those look the same as the ones that put me to sleep a couple of nights ago. I think though, sleep provoking aside, these from the FDIC are the bingo and bottom line in reporting!!!!!!!! I have to do a more specific search through them for BK tradelines AND I just made a fresh pot of coffee ;-) There's a lot of people, information furnishers included, doing things because someone told them to and without knowing whether that really is what it is -- it shouldn't be so hard to find these procedures! More than just for Lisa and myself, these rules and guidelines should help us all when looking at our CR's to know what is reporting right and what is reporting wrong. BINGOOOOOOO! I say, thank you! Sassy
Anyone know what distinguishes between a "federal" credit union and a regular one? Or, is there really no difference at all? -Cliff Federal credit unions (words "Federal Credit Union" appear in institution's name) National Credit Union Administration 1775 Duke Street Alexandria, VA 22314 *703-518-6360[/QUOTE]
