If a judgement is satisfied how long will it take for your fico to update or improve. I am just curious, because I am paying on mine as we speak.

It won't improve at all from my experience- FICO doesn't care if it's paid or unpaid...just the fact that you have a judgment is what lowers your score.

To get it off your reports, you'd have to either dispute it away with the CRA's (slim chance) or get the judgment vacated or dismissed.

Try changing your address. Get the CRA to remove your old address and dispute the judgment as "not mine". Since the court records don't generally include SS #'s for privacy reasons, all the CRA has to verify that the judgment belongs to you is your name and address. Once your old address is removed they don't have enough information to verify it belongs to you and if your lucky *poof* its gone.

I just checked with the Plaintiff and I am moving for a vacating of judgment once paid. I think that I can actually have it dismissed due to the fact that I did not receive the notice to show in court for the judgment. I am carefully coming up with a leverage point with them.
