I have been reading this board and a couple others before I did anything. If I jumped into this repair without doing my homework, I would have tried repairing months ago and I am sure I would have a mess on my hands. I have read posts from quite a few people on this board that I "respect" on not jumping into things and read & re-read the top 3 posts....etc... Believe me, I have. Now, if you don't agree with the way that I am going about my clean up process, that's fine. But maybe you should do your homework also, and see that I have been here a few months now and am just starting my journey.

It isn't what I thought you did in particular that brought about my comments but rather that I have seen so many people who didn't do their homework and simply believed what others have told them and later came to grief that prompted my comments. Even the advice of the most respected experts can lead one to grief if what they advise doesn't exactly fit one's own particular situation. So I wasn't jumping on you personally no matter what it might have seemed.
