I saw your reply to the thread about getting the cc with a judgement, where you had a judgement deleted, was it very old, and how did you do it? I have heard that if you wait a few years, the courthouse will not really bust a gut to verify, also, great work in your numbers, that is quite a jump for a month, if I am reading them right. Any advice?

Actually, the judgment was for overdue rent. The judgment was granted 9/97. I filed BK 1/98 which was discharged 1/00. I first tried to dispute with CRA. Came back verified (unpaid). Contacted old landlord and his lawyer and the both claim that they are not supposed to report it paid (which is BS - they have to report this to the court - how else do you get the court to show satisfied?) Anyway, that looked like a long row to hoe, so I looked in the BK code. That is when I found USC Title 11 CH5 Subchapter II Sec 524 (effect of discharge).

With nothing to lose but the cost of a stamp, I mailed a Motion to Set aside/Vacate. (printed off the internet web site for the courts of CO). Last Thursday I found out that it was granted!!!!

    Cool!

Yes you are reading right! I followed the advice here except I challenged EVERYTHING that was derrogatory. I did it in my own words and sent copies of proof. At the end of 30 days, huge jump in score! :)
