701 is really that good ? thanks for the help too! Is a FICO score a set standard, or does each credit reportin agency each have their own score ? I didnt see that info anywhere in the information provided to me by myfico.com. What store cards would you suggest though ? I already have 7 inquires that show on the report at myfico.com, do I really want to risk more ? Thanks!
Eric, read the FAQ. In particular the Frequent Starting Out Questions and Scoring section. That should help you find out about most of the questions you are asking. Searching is also a great art to learn around here...much info can be gleened from creative searching. -Peace, Dave
Each bureau has it's own modified version of FICO... Transunion has Empirica Equifax has Beacon Experian has....has.....hmmmm forgot what it's called! Anyway, these three scores will almost NEVER be the same since the info on each report is rarely identical.
