My Experian Score jumped today: Roadloans offically started to report, BUT Household hasn't paid/closed their account and now my reasons are because I've got tooo much credit open (17K Autoloan Twice!!!) How long do you guys think it will take Household to fix this? Btw with the additition of Roadloans on my CR my report went up about 20-25pts. Hopefully it will go up a bit more when Household closes their account paid as agreed. We'll have to wait and see. 15 points and I'm officially in the 600 club on Exp with 1 Transferred Sold Account, 1 Collection for $27.00 that they refuse to delete without charging me another $40 for FEE's and 1 account I have in dispute. I figure that if I can get 2/3 of those negative removed or all three I should be in the 600-650 range or higher and when Citibank reports that should be nice too!
that they refuse to delete without charging me another $40 for FEE's and 1 account I have in dispute. They said they would charge you fees to take it off your credit report? do you have that in writing?
They call the extra $40 an administrative fee for processing the deletion and sending me a letter. Although they provide nothing in writing stating they will delete it until you send them a check. I was thinking of driving the 100 miles to their office (just up the coast a bit) and taking them a money order or cash. They get it instantaneously, and I should get a deletion letter immediately. I'm going to call them tomorrow (monday) and ask them. It's worth the 100 miles. Citibank reported, another 10 point gain in score. Not reporting Credit Limit though. CE said my score would be 625-635 if I don't have that item listed. That was before Citibank. First Premier is in dispute and should be comming off soon. That puts me squarely in the 650's if everything goes right on Exp. Equifax should be about the same. TU hasn't moved, even with 1 account that's been in dispute for months, a paid charge-off and 4 new accounts. still in the mid 500's. I'm going to call them tomorrow, I'll let you know.
