I have a 3 collection accounts from 1997. Do this collection weigh alot on when my score is calculated? I've been disputing them but they keep coming back verified.

    All 3 are pretty small 246, 60, 146.

My scores are hovering in the mid to high 500's and Im just wondering if its worth the trouble to thru the validation process to have them removed/

I would definitely go the validation route. If your scores are that low, I would imagine the collections are playing an integral role. Send CRRR validation requests to each of the CA's. Give them 30 days. If no response, then fire off another request giving them 15 days. If they still don't reply, send the estoppel letter and give them 48 hours to delete. I would imagine they would probably give up...your debt's are low, the SOL is well up, and they are gonna fall off in a year or two anyways.

i personally had some stuff from 1996 and 1995. some were small like yours. I'd get anywhere from 5 to 10 points each time one came off, depending on the CRA and other factors.
sometimes I wasnt able to tell the exact score change because other changes occured at the same time.

EDIT: your score rise is not going to be like mine if these are your only neg's. it may increase drastically when they are gone, it may not, never can tell. depends on the person/report.

i'd send out validation letters on them.
