    Question: On EQ, they deleted a collection I disputed and my score went down 7 points. Why??? How can this happen.

    WHY DID I PAY DOWN $30,000+ ON CREDIT CARDS AND LOSE POINTS???

    Hi,

    This happened to me because the collection accounts I got rid of were old, and sadly were boosting my score (I know that doesn't make sense), but I am now having to play the waiting game for my current accounts to age to boost my score.

    Don't feel too bad, I had 7 negs removed and lost 89 points. I WAS sitting at 679
