I recently got 5 items deleted off hubby's report (5th one just days ago!!) how long does it take before his score is changed? I have read different websites that say to wait 60-90 days before a score will reflect any changes? I do not know his score. I do know that he had 5 negs. and 0 pos. as of Dec 12, 2001 now he has 3 negs and 3 pos (all under 1 year old) and 2 less inquiries as of today, and I am hoping his score is good.

    The score will update immediately.

IF it changes at all. I just received another alert and have 5 more negatives deleted (thanks to the estoppel letter) and NO change in score. That is like 9-10 deletions in 3 weeks with NO score change. That is ridiculous. I've also had an account go from R-9 to R-1 and inquiries removed on this same report.

    Christi...

Is this from your TU report by chance?

TU and Equifax, neither one changes!!! I could have the "perfect" array of cards with 10% usage, no negatives, no lates and 1 inquiry and the SOB's would keep me in the 500 club.

The reason I ask is because I just had 2 fairly new (incorrect) $4K charge offs and a 2-year old $1K chargeoff removed from TU and my score didn't budge either - still 596

    Hmmmmm.

Crap!!! This is tooooooo confusing. I have read about false fico's, real ficos, DO any of us truly know where we stand? If your score is based partly on negs/ inquiries then why does it not change when the negs/inquiries change? Any clue? Anyone? And then to find out they give you your score and its not the real deal anyways....I need some serious therapy! LOL

We all will before we are done :) I really don't care about numbers anymore (ok just a bit). I want to see the negatives and collection accounts gone and R-1 and I-1 accounts remaining with 2-3 inquiries MAX. That is all I'm after.

It could be worse y'know... how about when you get negatives deleted and your TU DROPS!? As in, 30+ point drop!

What about when you pay off a loan.

I refinanced my car early last month, yet when I check CreditExpert it still shows both balances.

I figured I'd give them a week into Feb before doing something about it, but that would be tomorrow.

I think there should be a million dollar reward for who ever can answer these kind of Questions. Second thought probably nobody would ever collect it as it most likely can't be answered.
