Three weeks ago, I posted here about a complaint I had with Sears. I had gone to the store and got no resolution. I then called their customer service and, again got no help.

Someone here suggested Planet Feedback. So, I tried that. Three weeks later, and no resolution. My conclusion is that they do not respond to PF.

From what I can tell, their motto of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" means that they guaranteee that Sears will be satisfied, not the customer.

    Thomas,

I have heard that Sears is a tough nut to crack. I've never dealt with them myself but I did work for them when I was in college and it does seem odd because we were instructed to bend over backward for the customer. Basically anything they wanted done within reason we did. I guess times have changed. One thing though, my boyfriend defaulted on a Sears card. It was charged off. This was while we were in college. Apparently Sears never reported the acount because it was charged off around 1994 and it is not on any of his reports. So sometimes you can slip through the cracks with them. I would try going into the store on a Sunday when it's real quiet and talking to someone again. I know they have account services counters in some of them I don't know if it will work but it's worth a shot.

Thomas- I don't know what to tell you. I've used PFB for Sears on 2 occasions - one for credit, one for a bad dryer. In both cases I was emailed back from the National Consumer Relations folks within 1 business day.

    Here's their direct #

    Good luck,
