I disputed sears with CSC(equifax) three months ago. All payment history was deleted. Today I check my report and bam, sears has added one 90 day late. My score drops from 641 to 629. I go to the FICO account detail and the date of the 90 day is 8/2000. I have had sears paid off for over a year now. Also I checked my inquiry section and they haven't looked at my report. Do you think that CSC has just put it back on? I beleive that they delete when they don't get the response, but later verify or make something up and put it on there.. Does anyone have any advice. Aren't they supposed to notify me, or is that if the whole tradeline is added. I had my report clean for one day!!!!

5 DAYS AFTER A "BADDIE" IS ADDED (BACK ON) YOU MUST BE NOTIFIED...

If any item of information (that can be an entire tradeline or a detail concerning a tradeline) is deleted due to a dispute is reinserted, they must send you notification of the reinsertion within 5 days of them doing so.

Ok thanks. I don't think sears really called back after 3 months of deletion just to add one late. Afterall, I had several lates listed under that tradeline. Also they have been paid off for over a year. Why would they be interested in messing with me. If so you would think they would update all the lates. Really seems like CSC is just doing what they want to. Anyone ever sue for re-insertion?
