Sears changeover to Citibank

I just received "official" notification that my Sears accounts are now owned by Citibank. I have a Sears M/C and a Sears Premier. I also have a Citibank Platinum Select M/C.

I'm curious as to whether anyone has had any luck getting Citibank to consolidate lines of credit in situations like this...I'd like to keep at least one "Sears" branded card, for their frequent 0% financing deals on appliances, etc., but I wouldn't mind losing one of the M/C accounts.

Has anyone talked to Citi now that the changeover appears to be complete?

    Thanks.

    CO-BRANDED have special rules...

    Call and ask...

CAPITAL ONE WON'T LET YOU COMBINE ACCOUNTS WHEN ONE IS CO-BRANDED...

CHASE WON'T LET YOU COMBINE M/C WITH VISA...
